There isn’t anything controversial about the concept of one person, one vote, so why do we continue to use the electoral college instead of a direct popular vote to elect the President of the United States?

Do we really need to fear the other? No we don’t! We are all basically the same, regardless of perceived divisions, and that’s what really matters.

Shouldn’t we as a society focus more on finding ways to work less and enjoy life more?

It shouldn’t matter what your beliefs are, all religions have the same basic foundations. We need to learn to accept and respect all beliefs instead of using differing religions as another basis for discrimination.

Nobody is perfect. We need to remember that not only in our daily struggles, but also in our country’s past, mistakes have been made. The only way forward is to compassionately learn from them.

The meaning of life is happiness. Everyone wants to be happy, yet pain and suffering tend to limit our ability to be happy. So how can we find happiness even when we are suffering?

Environmental regulations are not evil. They are a great way to balance health and safety with individual freedom.
